Gala Bingo has been ‘king’ of the bingo and online gaming scene for many years. The team required conceptual and creative support for one of the largest national campaigns the business had ever seen. The objective of the campaign was to promote a ‘bigger and better’ bingo experience and entice audiences back to the halls.

SOLUTION
Our proven track record of crafting creative campaign strategies across targeted channels secured the project with Gala Bingo. We leaned into the trend of the moment when we married Bingo with flamingos, encouraging customers to ‘flock’ back to the bingo halls. The concept was both engaging and versatile, using visual interpretations of flamingos, anchored by clever wordplay.
Whilst printed creative was rolled out across nationwide bingo halls, we targeted social channels with static and animated content and engaged lapsed customers through a targeted email campaign. Using hired actors and a green screen studio, we scripted, filmed and produced several short videos to push the promotion across digital channels.
The result was the reactivation of 36,000 lapsed customer accounts, 10.8m digital impressions, a 3% increase in admissions, a 400% increase in Facebook engagement and a reach of over 3m across Twitter and Facebook. It’s fair to say the campaign was a wing-flapping success!
