BRIEF

Nottingham Trent University asked us to deliver a series of workshops and lectures to students in Beijing as part of its relationship with the Communication University of China. The students were tasked with setting up their own fictional agencies and building marketing strategies to relaunch Nottingham Castle. Our brief was to train them using our series of marketing workshops so that they were prepared for the task ahead.

SOLUTION

Both virtually and in-person, we successfully delivered a full suite of marketing and training workshops to students at Beijing’s Communication University of China – covering brand planning, digital discovery, marketing strategy, content and social media marketing.

Delivering up to 100 hours across a two year period, our workshops included a number of interactive elements to drive engagement and prompted interesting debates about the best approach for the Nottingham Castle brand. Through the strategic and tactical knowledge we were able to pass on, both cohorts were well equipped to create strategies that met the brief, whilst securing excellent grades.
