We’ve worked in partnership with Nottingham Rugby Club since 2006, providing ongoing strategic marketing, creative and brand building support across a range of online and offline tactics.

SOLUTION

In partnership with key stakeholders, we have ensured a gradual evolution of the brand on a season-by-season basis in line with a defined strategy. The strategy takes into account the channels through which audiences are most likely to engage with the club, with messaging tailored to appeal to each group. From darker, moodier styles, to grittier campaign platforms utilising the vibrancy of the club’s green and white stripes, the brand has evolved over time to reflect current sporting and design trends as well as the needs of its audience.

The overall objective of our work has been focused on driving ticket sales and encouraging support from local residents, students and rugby fans across the community. We have also facilitated alternative avenues for income generation including seasonal events, speaker nights, beer festivals and local business partnerships. The rugby club now boasts a proud and committed following, which goes beyond matchdays, with an iconic brand that commands support from loyal archers, business networks and local communities alike.
