Robin Hood Network
UX/UI, app and website build
experience
THE
BRIEF
The Robin Hood Network is a family of travel cards named after Nottingham’s famous outlaw, providing integrated bus, tram and train travel across the city and greater Nottingham area. We were tasked with building a powerful creative platform and applying effective UX and UI design across a user-centric mobile app and a functional, conversion-driven website.
THE
SOLUTION
After building an engaging and versatile creative platform taking inspiration from the city of Nottingham and its cultural heritage, we were tasked with applying effective UX and UI for a new mobile app and website, with both platforms integrating a digital ticketing system. The purpose of both platforms was to increase travel card sales, help users book tickets and allow passengers to plan their journeys with ease.
Adhering to accessibility and compliance standards was crucial due to wide the range of ages and user demographics. Combining behavioural science and best practice UX allowed us to craft a user-centric and effortless experience across both platforms.
Thanks in part to our support, the Robin Hood Network has since seen a notable uptake in travel card purchases and a more efficient service across Nottingham and the wider area. As a result, The Dairy has since been commissioned to work on the new integrated travel ticketing app, Ride, which is due to launch in 2025.
